Dear Esteemed TANO Member:
It is our hope that this letter finds you, your family, your staff, and all those you serve, well during these extraordinary times. We write, regretfully, to inform you that the TANO Board of Directors has filed a Resolution of Intent to dissolve TANO, effective as of December 31, 2020.
It has been a privilege and an honor to be of service to you and to the nonprofit sector in Texas for over twenty-five years. Therefore, this is neither a step taken lightly, nor without significant consideration. Times change, needs change, and we know there are many resources available to you and your organizations to which you can turn for the further support you may find helpful and necessary to the sustainability of your important mission.
As TANO moves toward dissolution at the end of the calendar year, we are winding down services we make available. As of November 24, 2020, changes include:
- Website: The TANO website will remain accessible through the end of the calendar year.
- Job Board: Jobs currently posted on the job board will remain on the board for the remainder of the calendar year. No new job postings can be made going forward.
- GrantStation: Access to GrantStation is no longer available. We recommend you learn more about direct membership options by visiting the GrantStation webpage; A two-year annual membership with GrantStation is $109.50 a year.
It is our sincere hope that our mission to connect, strengthen, and support the nonprofit community for the public good of Texas has, during our nearly three decades of serving Texas nonprofit organizations, been helpful and useful to you.
We thank you for supporting TANO throughout the years and wish you well in your future efforts and work.
All the best,
TANO Board of Directors
