TANO is one of the most effective ways to reach the Texas nonprofit sector’s professional managers, boards, and volunteer leadership. Our weekly e-mail TANOgram consistently reaches over 50,000 individuals affiliated with nonprofits throughout the state. That number is growing exponentially as we expand our presence and activity.
While our focus is on small and mid-size nonprofits (i.e., budgets of $5 million or less)- which account for 98.2% of the over 74,504 Section 501 (c)( 3) entities in our state – we serve all.
Your support can be reflected in direct advertising arrangements or by sponsoring and underwriting one or more of our program services.
Advertising opportunities include:
- Advertisement in weekly e-mail TANOgram – 50,000+ circulation;
- Banner Ads on TANO website
- Web Page sponsorship
- Promotion with TANO literature

Fellowships within our Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Management (CNLM) program @ $3,000 each x 5 = $15,000 to create opportunities for participation in this 10 month long, 2 days per month, 170+ hours program whose goal for each participant is “to be a self aware, reflective, ethical leader with a strong sense of professionalism, commitment and passion for the nonprofit sector”. The program's first three classes have resulted in 96 graduates to date. The fourth class is being recruited for the next class that runs from August 2010 to June 2011 in January. The CNLM is a joint effort with the Center for Community Based & Nonprofit Organizations at Austin Community College.
