Monthly Public Policy Update/ Discussion Teleconferences

The Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations convenes monthly teleconferences of representatives of TANO organizational members and others interested in the public policy issues which TANO tracks both within Texas and nationally
  • To promote the exchange and discussion of substantive information on Texas and national legislative and regulatory environments, including information gleaned from National Council of Nonprofits Public Policy Committee discussions; and

  • To provide an opportunity for the sharing of perspectives and the development of common  approaches to effect desired public policy outcomes.

Moderated by the Chair of TANO’s Public Policy Working Group (currently Robert Pinhero), each teleconference features a summary presentation by Richard W. Meyer, TANO’s Vice-President focused on public policy.

Participation is open to all interested individuals and given the importance of the topics, TANO is waiving all fees for non-TANO members at the current time.  All participants must, however, be Registered Site Users - which is FREE to do at www.tano.org.
