Management Liability Protection Including Directors & Officer's and Employment Practices Coverage

The Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations endorses Frost Insurance and Monitor Liability Managers to offer Management Liability Insurance to all Members. Endorsed programs can provide TANO's nonprofit members coverage for directors and officers as well as employment practices and fiduciary liability that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of nonprofit organizations.

Coverage is available for qualifying accounts for full prior acts, duty to defend, leased and independent contractors and third party exposures.

In addition to standard D&O insurance and entity indemnification, separate individual coverage is generally available for the independent director serving on the board of a nonprofit organization. Click here to download the application.

Employee Benefits / Medical Plans

TANO members have access to the following medical plans:

Humana Health Plan

This plan offers a premium discount for TANO members with 2-99 employees. The plan includes a wide range of benefits through PPO, POS and Health Savings Account (HSA) compatible plans, which can also be offered on a dual choice basis. In addition to premium savings, members enrolled in the Humana Medical plan will receive a free discount vision plan, may take advantage of free Section 125 Premium Only Plans allowing employee premiums deducted on a pre-tax basis (2-99 employees), and receive free COBRA administration (20-99 employees).
