On June 2, 3, 4, A Circle of Ten, Inc.-Network for Collaboration (C10), the City of Winnsboro, Texas A&M University and national, state and regional partners are sponsoring the Ninth Annual Funders’ Forum & Conference in downtown Winnsboro, Texas. Below are brief details with full Agenda and more details at www.FundersExpo.com
Past Outcomes & Success! Workforce Solutions East Texas sponsored leaders to the past three Forums. A recent surveyed asked these Leaders “what happened at and after the Forum” resulting from face-to-face meetings with 40+ funders and other community and agency leaders. WSET’s $13,000 was leveraged to bring in $3,232,633 One testimony: More testimonies at www.FundersExpo.com.
Reason for Forum: Rural East Texas towns, businesses, faith & community based agencies face hard times due to the economy, loss of jobs, etc. The Forum is needed, now, more than ever.
The new Forum format and extended agenda combine the strengths of the first eight Forums and stem from Funders’ requests to better serve attendees. Here a brief schedule:
June 2 1-5:00 PM -Seminars, Exhibits & Individual Consultations by funders and nonprofit specialists
7:00 PM -Kick-off “Dinner with the Funders” with Key ET Leaders welcoming Funders from across nation
June 3 Full Day -Funding Panels throughout the day; Exhibits & Individual Consultations continue
Evening -Networking, Concert, Music & Art Opportunities
June 4 8AM-Noon -Seminars provided by Funders and nonprofit specialists
-Exhibits, Individual Consultations & Networking Opportunities
History & Experience: A Circle of Ten has trained and supported leaders to multiply partnerships impacting education, workforce, energy efficiency, social services, housing, and economic development, since 1996. Amazing Forum: In 2007, US Dept of Commerce’s Rick Sebenoler stated, “This Event is “the largest gathering of Funders in the nation!” This year’s agenda and line- up reflect this.
