Learn the difference between personal profiles, fan pages, groups and causes and create a Facebook fan page for your non profit.
During this lab we will:
- create a business fan page for your nonprofit.
- learn how to obtain your page's unique URL.
- learn various ways to promote your page.
- discuss creating an editorial calendar to ensure high-quality and consistent posting.
- discuss using photos, video, notes, discussions, events, reviews and applications to optimize your page.
- learn how to track visits to your page and understand the analytics data Facebook provides about your page.
By the end of this lab you will understand how to use it to promote your nonprofit, to engage volunteers, to update donors and to realize tangible benefits resulting from the time you spend on Facebook.
