Media coverage is a critical component of your organization's communications and fundraising efforts. In this unique program, you'll receive training from a panel of local media professionals, which in the past has included TV news directors like Kevin Benz and newspaper columnist Andrea Ball. Learn about developing relationships with the media, framing your message, and what to do when the media calls you. Then develop your media pitch and schedule face time to pitch your stories to News 8, KUT and other media outlets. You'll walk away with a list of media contacts that you can use right away. Lunch is included.
