This workshop begins with some basic PR calisthenics to stretch and strengthen everyone’s know how. The presentation includes tips and strategies for preparing basic releases and other materials for the press. Find out how to use the cycle of the year to maximize media opportunities, who to contact, and how to write to get some attention. This presentation will also cover what different media, from television and radio to the Associated Press, are looking for in a press release and how they want to be approached about a story.
