The A to Z Guide: Taking Care of your Company’s Talent The Human Resource Department of today is involved in much more than just talent acquisition, performance management and payroll. HR professionals must be savvy in the realm of employee safety and health, providing guidance to supervisors and managers in the ways of safety training, hazard identification, claims oversight and prevention. Additionally, we have now added the additional responsibility of education and training on healthy living as well as conservation in the workplace to protect mother earth. All of these issues and responsibilities can seem to pull in a variety of directions. Conservation is an issue that impacts the bottom line in a positive way, but do you think the "going green" mantra is turning some employers off because it is seen as only an expense? What can be done to bridge the gap and positively impact the bottom line? What can employers do to create cultures of conservation, and employee safety and health that will become part of the culture, not just another short lived initiative? Join us for a panel discussion that will provide insight into these challenges and assist with developing a culture of safety, heath and conservation that will benefit the employer, their workforce and the broader community. Each panelists will discuss and answer questions about the critical issues and emerging tends in taking care of talent in today's workforce.
