Full Description
Target audience: Volunteer Managers/Coordinators as well as Executive Directors and staff members who may not fully appreciate how volunteers can strengthen the effectiveness and sustainability of your nonprofit organization!
Session Description:
Feed the Homeless Mentor Children Build a House
These are excellent ways to utilize volunteers but they can do more! Volunteers are (or at least should be!) an integral part of any nonprofit organization. But, while more people volunteer today than ever before, they are volunteering less hours so as nonprofit leaders we have to learn how to more effectively utilize the new breed of volunteer!
In this session, participants will learn:
- how volunteers impact the bottom line of your budget,
- how to effectively utilize every possible volunteer
- how to recruit the volunteers you need and then keep them!
Sessions can be designed to fit into a breakout session as part of a conference or developed as a three hour intensive and interactive staff workshop to get your organization excited about using volunteers! Contact the presenter on how we can mold the session to better fit your needs.
Cost: Free for TANO members and $10 for non TANO members.
