Opportunity: 
Maximizing web technology, congregations have an opportunity to communicate its message, in the most efficient means possible, to their members and the community at large.  Web communications offer 24/7 access, dynamic interface, sermon broadcast, and archival tools available to project this message through the most intuitive, advanced tools available. 

Objective: 
To make available the  message to the largest audience possible using the most efficient method at the lowest possible cost. 

Method: 
By using the latest in web technology, the congregation has opportunity to: 
• Develop on-line programs custom designed for specific demographics or for the entire congregation 
• Share an easy-to-read, intuitive calendar of events 
• Make available recorded audio or video messages as well as archive messages for 
  review 
• Created a welcome greeting video for new guests 
• Collect tithes and offerings 
• Link newsletters available in print 
• Communicate to specific groups within the independently 
• Create secure share space for committees to share information 

 

The workshop will also discuss new social media marketing concepts such as Twitter and Facebook and how congregations can tap into these resources.
