Chris Douglas is a consultant, coach and trainer and the founder of Quest Leadership Consulting. His work focuses on “people skills” such as Influential Leadership, Leadership on the High Road, The Art of Productive Conflict, Improving Performance Under Stress, The Power of Effective Communication and Building Effective Teams. Chris has served a variety of organizations including IBM, Dell Computer, Shell Oil and the U.S. Federal Government. He is on the faculty of The Crossings’, “Leadership Retreat Center”, and for six years, he presented a two-day segment of IBM’s highly regarded “Leadership Excellence University” program.
In addition to his own programs, Chris has facilitated programs for other training organizations including Team Craft, The Leadership Group, Falls River Center, Pecos River Learning Centers, The Multi-Cultural Institute and The Likeable Lawyer. Having studied human dynamics and organizational development for over 20 years, he brings knowledge and understanding, as well as warmth and humor to the material he presents.
As a consultant and executive coach, Chris has helped many individual clients, teams and organizations dismantle counterproductive patterns and achieve greater professional and personal fulfillment.
Chris is currently writing a book and peripheral materials on the topic of “Practical Wisdom”. The intention of this material is to support the readers in both understanding the truth and benefits of common, universal wisdom, and then, how to consistently apply it in their personal and professional lives.
In 2003, Chris earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.
Chris has traveled extensively and has lived and worked overseas in Europe and Asia for a total of three years. He is a private pilot, a woodworker, a photographer, an actor and has pursued adventure sports including whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing and mountaineering.
