Kathleen McCleskey is the President of KM Consulting and Training Connection. Since 1984, she has developed and presented workshops to over 11,000 participants on four continents. During that time, she has maintained ongoing training relationships with the US Department of Agriculture's Graduate School and the Corporation for National and Community Service. For 18 years, Kathleen was a speaker at the Association for Volunteer Administrators International Conference. Kathleen is a certified strategic planner in the Cornerstone Organizational Planning© process. In 2001, the Graduate School USDA named her one of the top 16 trainers in the nation. Her other awards include several government service awards, the Army's Emma Baird Award and the Harriet Naylor Distinguished Member Award from the Association of Volunteer Administration. Kathleen has authored and co-authored two books for nonprofits--one on interviewing skills and the other on community connections. She conducts and develops online courses for the University of North Texas' Education Consortium on Volunteerism.

There are many facets to evaluating a volunteer program. This session will cover how to begin an evaluation process for your volunteering program including outcome based measurement.
Participants will:
· Examine a variety of different evaluations for a volunteer program
· Determine how to start an evaluation process
