Dr. Vardiman is an Associate Professor of Management at Abilene Christian University.  He has over 20 years of experience in operations management, human resources management, organizational development and quality assurance.  He has held several leadership and management positions while continuing his education.  His experiences include:



  • Planning and leading change (organizational and transitional)

  • Teaching Management, Entrepreneurship and Production courses

  • Teaching both undergraduate and graduate HR courses

    • Redesign involving leadership and structural transitions

Prior to teaching at Abilene Christian University, he was an Assistant Professor of Health Professions at Texas State University (2001-2002).  He earned his B.S. Ed. degree from Abilene Christian University and he received his MBA from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.  He then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Ed. Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University in 2001.  Dr. Vardiman also received his Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Society of Human Resource Management in 1999.  He is also a certified trainer in Frontline Leadership, Leadership Architect and The Predictive Index.

Dr. Jinkerson is an associate professor in the college of business at Abilene Christian University.  He is also a consultant with businesses, government, and education and training organizations.  He is skilled in the foundations and methodologies of applied research/evaluation approaches and applications to issues and problems in business and industry.


Darryl was Director of Assessment & Measurement for Arthur Andersen for a number of years, where he was primarily responsible for determining business impact of numerous programs, assessing employee and client satisfaction, strategic planning, and identifying appropriate performance measures and goals.  He also served for 3 years as Vice President for Service Companies in Roselle, IL, where he was responsible for oversight of all operations for six companies including strategic planning, personnel, benefits, marketing, finance, customer relations and field operations.
