For more than 25 years, Sue has worked in corporate, government and nonprofit environments using facilitation skills to design and measure processes, develop human resources and improve organizational effectiveness. Sue has worked in both corporate and government grant making (with specialization in supporting the arts) and in environmental conservation and waste management. Sue holds a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree focused in Organizational Development from Texas State University. She is also a Certified Public Manager (CPM) through the William Hobby Public Service Academy is a National Endowment for the Arts Fellow and holds a B.A. In Speech and Drama, enhancing her ability to connect with clients, customers and students.



Michele Walker-Moak, Global Community Affairs, Applied Materials


Michele Walker-Moak leads project teams for Global Community Affairs at Applied Materials, Inc. Her duties include developing a global education and environmental strategy based on access, equity and academic improvement. She leads the education and art grant investment in Central Texas, where Applied was recognized as Austin’s Education Partner of the Year and Manor ISD’s Education Partner of the Year. In addition, she is responsible for running the largest corporate food drive in Central Texas. Michele’s community commitments include: BookSpring, board president; Breakthrough, advisory board; Eastside Memorial, advisory board; Young Leaders Society and the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce’s Education and Workforce Council. Michele was recognized as the Community Affairs Executive of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2008.
