Webinar Details:
You've heard the stories. Heck, maybe you even tried it yourself. It seems that everyone knows someone who's used social media to raise money for their cause, but it's never us, or the people WE know! Truth is, raising money with social media isn't very different than raising money any other way. But it will require that we learn some new skills and approach our work in a different way. Designed for staff who are beginners to social media, this webinar will outline what social media means for fundraisers, give case studies, and set you up to think about your first campaigns.
Presented by:
- Holly Ross, Executive Director, NTEN
Note: Those new to NTEN will be asked to create a log-in to sign up for this free webinar. After creating your log-in, you'll need to come back to the event registration page: http://nten.org/TANO/events.

Holly has spent more than five years at NTEN, combing through all the technology fads and listening to the NTEN community to line up the webinars, conferences, and research that will help members use technology to make the world a better place. From ubiquitous access to technology leadership to social media trends, Holly brings the wisdom of the NTEN crowd to the nonprofit sector.
Holly is also editor of "Managing Technology to Meet Your Mission: A Strategic Guide for Nonprofit Leaders," available from Jossey-Bass.
Holly came to nonprofit technology after working for social change at CALPIRG and during her college days at UC Berkeley. In between meetings and emailing, Holly tries to raise her 3 year old daughter and occasionally pays attention to her fabulous husband.
