Richard W. Meyer is an attorney practicing in Austin, Texas, with 28 years’ experience with nonprofit organizations, and also in business ventures and investments, government agency operations and contracting, and general corporate/business/real estate practice.
Rick serves as outside counsel to TIBH Industries, Inc., an Austin-based, nonprofit statewide marketing organization with sales of almost $100 million per year, which contracts with government entities for goods and services. He has in the past served as a special investigator of nonprofit organization misconduct while with the Attorney General of Texas, has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations, has lectured and written articles for nonprofit managers, and is an advisor in the M.B.A. program at St. Edward’s University of Austin for graduate student consulting projects. He is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Architecture (l970) and Law (1974) and is licensed in Texas and California.
Rick represents TANO on governmental, public policy and legislative issues that may arise before legislative, governmental bodies or agencies at the state, federal or local levels.
